DETAILS
Samata School has already raised the funds required to meet the costs of building and construction, but requests help in providing the materials such as tiling, porcelain furniture and plumbing materials etc for the toilet cubicles.
The new toilet block will house private cubicles as well as urinal facilities for the boys and will provide hand washing facilities. They will offer much needed privacy and reduce reduction to class time disruption. The new facilities will separate the upper school facilities from the lower school and kindergarten/nursery. They will afford greater hygiene control and opportunity to discuss further the need for personal hygiene among the students.
Samata School, Kathmandu, provides quality education for at least 2000 children of poor backgrounds and also provides residential facilities to a number of orphan children at its own expense.
