TravelPledge is delighted to post a new project on our site which aims to fund the start up of a ‘Lunch Stop’ in Ethiopia.

Identified and promoted by responsibletravel.com this project will be highlighted to its customers booking responsible holidays to Ethiopia.

We aim to raise enough funds to develop 2 ‘Lunch Stops’, part of ongoing work in North Wollo near to Lalibela (with it network of rock-hewn churches a World Heritage Site) to support local communities to develop tourism hosting services. Once established these small community run businesses will continue to earn income into the coming years, as well as provide tourists with authentic and memorable experiences.
